1/97 Prior's Court and attached outbuilding to rear -

GV II

Farmhouse. Mid C17, altered c1820-30. Red brick, plain tiled roof hipped at the right, brick modillion cornice. L-plan house and attached outbuilding with oast house at rear left. 3 storeys, 2 windows plus one in projecting section at left, all 16-pane glazing bar sashes under rubbed brick flat arches. Central panelled door in a doorcase with pilasters and a pediment. Later C19 single storey extension,formerly a farm office, projects at the right corner. Rear wing has 3-light casement windows under segmental heads. Long outbuilding at rear left terminates in 2 square oast kilns with pyramidal slate roofs. Interior of the front part of the house has stop-chamfered beams and a deep inglenook fireplace, in the front right room.
