GV II
House and two shops. Circa 1800, altered mid-C20. Painted brick with slate
roof and left end ridge stack. Three storeys with dentilled eaves cornice.
Four bays; two central bays are situated close together. Windows on two
upper floors have cambered heads. First floor has two 4-pane sashes and two
12-pane sashes. Second floor has four small 4-pane sashes. Ground floor
occupied by two C19 shop fronts flanked by pilasters with ornately detailed
capitals; the shop windows have cast iron mullions. Both shop fronts have
glazed C20 doors with transom lights. Included for Group Value.
