BLAKEMERE CP BLAKEMERE GREEN SO 34 SE 4/13 The Old Vicarage 2.9.66 GV II
House. c16, extended C17, restored mid-C20. Timber-frame with painted brick and rendered infill on a course rubble plinth with a slate and graduated stone tile roof. L-plan, C16 cross-wing extending to south, other range to west. Lateral rubble stack on east wall of cross-wing. North front: cross-wing to left of two storeys with a 2-light casement over a 3-light casement. Range to right of one storey, with attic lit by a roof-light, a 2-light casement below. Entrance to right-hand corner of cross-wing with ledged and boarded door. Framing of cross-wing, two rectangular panels high, curved tension braces and angle braces. Truss has two raking struts, collar and trenched purlins. Later range three square panels high.
