BRIDGE SOLLERS CP BRIDGE SOLLERS SO 44 SW 5/19 Knapp Farmhouse 20.2.53 - II

Farmhouse. Early C18, probably incorporating C17 remains, with some late C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Probably timber-frame clad in brick with a tile roof. Main range aligned north-west/south-east with external stack to north gable and two lateral stacks on south-west wall. South-west front of two storeys with a band to the ground floor. Five windows, each a 2-light casement. Ground floor has four timber cross-windows with a 3-light casement to right. Right-hand (south) gable has a 16-pane boxed sash over a glazing bar sash. Entrance to opposite front. Interior not inspected, but reported to contain a C17 timber-frame. (RCHM, Vol 3, p 22, no 2).
