Details
YARPOLE CP BIRCHER SO 46 NE 3/136 Bircher Hall 11.6.59 GV II
House. Mid-C18, extended early C19 with some late C19 alterations. Stuccoed brick with hipped slate roof. Garden (south) front of two storeys, with nine windows. The windows to each corner are two-storey square bays with flat roofs and three plate glass sashes to the front. The other windows are 16-pane sashes. The ground floor has, from left to right within the bay windows, a glazing bar sash, a blind window with semi-circular head, moulded architrave and keystone, then two French case- ments with Doric pilasters, another blind window with semi-circular head and two glazing bar sashes. Entrance to rear (north) has a pedimented canopy on Doric columns. Interior not inspected.
