GV II

House. Early C19. Stucco, hipped, slate roof with overhanging eaves, large brick stacks to left side elevation, rear main ridge and rear wing gable end. Two storeys, sill band beneath first floor windows. Roughly U-shaped plan of main range on west/east axis with rear wing to west end and cross-wing adjoining east side. Front elevation: clasping pilasters at ends; main range of 3 bays plus one bay of cross-wing which projects slightly; windows have moulded architraves and are 16-pane sashes; main range has 2 large ground floor and 3 small first floor windows, cross-wing has a small ground and first floor window; main entrance in angle with cross- wing and has a flat-roofed porch, moulded cornice and 2 round-headed archways with keyblocks and imposts; within the porch are 2 similar archways and inserted in the left is a part-glazed door, and to the right a round-arched window with sill band. Interior not inspected.
