Cottage. C18. Whitewashed brick with corrugated sheet half-hipped roof and brick ridge stacks. Single storey and attic. 3-window range of 8/8 sash to left and casements to right. Central part-glazed panelled door within open porch. 2 2-light Lincolnshire dormers. Rear has 3- and 4-light casements and a 2-light Lincolnshire dormer with horizontal sliding sash.
INTERIOR has winder stair and plank and panelled doors, some with old door furniture. Some evidence of surviving roof structure.
Lavender Cottage is a comparatively little-altered cottage of the period and forms part of a significant group of historic buildings close to the Church of St.John the Baptist (q.v.).
