10/11 Grange and Rose Cottages 5.12.55 (formerly listed as No 1 Grange GV II Cottage, No2 Grange Cottage and Rose Cottage) Pair of cottages. C18 and C19. Brick with rendered plinth roof thatched with tiled roof around valley and dormer. C18 4 bay building with C19 slightly projecting gabled wing added to each end. Front 6 bay, 1½ storey. In centre bays C19 and C20 segmental headed casements and similar 2 and 3-light casements in end bays, one on each floor. At either end of centre portion C20 gabled dormer with 2-light casement. Above stacks at either end of original building with added flues for wings. Roof has thatch on main part between stacks, and on roof of wing with bargeboards to thatch on gable end. Roof tiled in between around valleys, stack and dormer.
