II
Lodge. Early C19 enlarged C20. Colourwashed rendered brick, slate roof. Single storey, C-shaped lodge of 2 bays parallel to road with set at 45 degrees, facing towards grounds of house, single bay wings,with another bay added to right wing on road side and C20 additions to right of this linking it to a service building, and another to road side of left wing. Central 2 bays have chamfered openings to C20 glazed door and single casements each side. Cast iron guttering with awning. Continuous roof on original building with stack diagonally set in front of ridge to left of centre. Roofs of additions hipped and flat. On other side roof of central part swept down between and linking to roofs of wings, supported of groups of cast iron columns forming a verandah, with similar guttering along front of columns.
