Details

WICKHAM TITCHFIELD LANE SU 51 SE 6/12 Little Park Mansions 6.3.67 II

Large house, of plain design, now flats. Late C18 and early C19. Walls of stucco, plinth. Main roof hipped, of interlocking tiles, hipped slate roof to the wing, extending as a half-hipped tile roof. Regular north west front elevation of three storeys seven windows (with wider space between the 5th and 6th openings). Sashes. Porch of two pilasters two smooth columns, with full Doric Order, with dentils and triglyphs, pediment and 6-panelled door, on stone steps, now enclosed by glazing. To the north side there extends an L-shaped two-storeyed service wing, with surviving and C20 features. The south-east elevation has an extension of short projection and lower service block of greater projection, the main part having three storeys 2.1.3 windows. Sashes. Doric doorcase with pediment, three-quarter columns, and half-glazed door. The service wing has a 1st floor French window opening onto balcony on brackets, with a Regency-style wrought-iron rail.
