Details
SU 72 SE BURITON NORTH LANE
4/2 Nursted Farmhouse (formerly 16.3.54 listed as Nursted Great GV II Farmhouse)
House. Mid C18. Walls of blue header brickwork with flush red dressings, plinth (above malmstone base), cambered and rubbed flat arches, brick dentil eaves, stone cills: north wall of English bond, south now tile hung. Hipped tile roof. East (old front) elevation symmetrical, of two storeys five windows. Sashes of sixteen panes. Plain doorframe, enclosing a fanlight and old door, with a late C19 stone moulded canopy on carved brackets. The west elevation (present front) is similar, but has been rendered, and with a late C19 large porch, gabled with decorative bargeboards, and half-glazed door. The south side of the house has single-storeyed wings, of brick and malmstone.
