HIGH STEERT 1. 5377 (West Side) Nayland with Wissington No 13 (The Old Guildhall) (formerly listed as House adjoining and on South of White Hart Inn under Church Street) TL 9734 27/701 10.1.53. II GV

2. A late C15-early C16 timber-framed and plastered house with considerable later alterations and renovated in the C20. There is a modern inscription with the date 1470. 2 storeys, with a jettied upper storey on the whole front on curved brackets with moulded capitals of former shafts. 4 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey has 3-light sashes and 1 single light window. At the north end there is a C20 recessed entrance way. Roof tiled. The interior has good carved ceiling beams and joists.
