GV II
Public house, c.1600. 2 storeys. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan; the parlour cell to left is of crosswing form. Timber-framed and roughcast. Plaintiled roof; an axial C17 chimney of pink/buff brick, with vertical plastered sunk panels. 3-light late C19 small-pane casements. C20 flat roofed porch at lobby-entrance position, panelled half-glazed door. Some plain framing of c.1600 exposed in the parlour. Altered clasped-purlin roof. The hall range has been altered and may originally have been 1 1/2 storeys high.
