Farmhouse, mid C17 with possible earlier core. One storey and attics. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and plastered. Main roof asbestos-slated (once thatched), and half-hipped over service cell at west end. One C19 raking casement dormer. A mid C17 chimney of red brick with a pilaster to front and rear of shaft. Early or mid C19 small-pane sashes. Mid/late C19 glazed porch at lobby entrance position: lean-to pantiled roof and boarded door. To rear of main range is a small C17/C18 wing with glazed pantiled roof. Set-forward to left is a mid C19 service wing: painted brick, slated roof. Framing mainly concealed at date of survey: in the hall are C17 floor joists, unchamfered and laid flat. The service cell has earlier floor joists, possibly reused, or indicating an earlier core.
