WALSHAM LE WILLOWS THE STREET (NORTH SIDE) South View

House, formerly including a shop. Mid c19. Red brick, with slate roof. 2 storeys. One internal chimney-stack has a plain red brick shaft with corbelled head. The long frontage has 5 irregularly-spaced small-paned sash windows to the upper floor with cased frames and slight reveals; 2 similar but larger sashes to the left of the ground floor with segmental arches to frames and surrounds. The centre of the ground floor has a pair of matching shop windows, divided by glazing bars into 3 lights, with a fanlight to each middle light; flat pediments over with solid supporting console-type brackets; plain enclosing pilasters. Between these 2 windows, a 4-panelled shop door: raised fielded panels, heavy plain surround, large flat pediment, console brackets. At the right, a C20 replacement window in cross form with additional glazing bars. A plain entrance door on the left. Included for Group Value.
