GODALMING SUMMERS ROAD SU 94 NE 1/211 (south-east side, off) Former dairy, opposite Nos 1 and 2 Stable Cottages, Broadwater Park - II

Dairy to Broadwater House, now outbuilding to Dairy Cottage. Mid C19 for George Marshall. Bargate rubblestone; dressings of alternatively raised bricks, red with grey headers. Plain tile roof. One storey with loft, 3 x 1 bays. Windows have triangular heads to lights and lozenge-patterned glazing bars. Central battened board door having vents at base and top, chamfered wood frame and segmental-arched surround. Flanking 3-light windows. Rear: chamfered plinth; two 3-light windows flanking former flue. Left return: 3-light window with 1-light window to gable; bargeboards. Right return: door, as at front, to right and another (unvented) to gable; bargeboards. Interior: divided longitudinally, front room having stone shelves and traces of former wire mesh at windows, rear room having traces of former rear wall fireplace.
