4/137 & 5/137 The Mill House 9/3/60 II
Mill House. Circa 1610 with C19 extensions and restored in C20. Timber framed on rendered plinth clad in brown brick below with fishscale tile hanging above. Plain tile hanging on courses swept out over ground floor. Plain tiled roofs. L-shaped plan with C19 extensions in the re-entrant angle to form a square plan. Two storeys to left, with attic under gabled dormer, brick dentil band over ground floor. Corbelled stacks to left and rear. One leaded window to each floor left. Taller gabled bay to right with attic window, and one window on each floor below, all under tile pentice courses. Half-glazed door to centre under gabled hood on braces. Rear - tile hanging with post ends exposed. Large offset end stack. Interior:- stop-chamfered spine beams. Fine C17 brick fireplace with tiled course and double flue.
