EAST STREET 1. 972 (south Side) Nos 84 to 86 (consec) SU 8604 NW 4/122 II 2. 1 roof span. C18. No 84: refaced but has an older core up to roof level. 3 storeys and attic. Steeply pitched tiled gabled roof with dormer window to No 85. 2 windows each. Nos 85 and 86:- No 85 stuccoed. No 86 painted brick (formerly, red brick). Separate eaves cornices with modillions (dentils to No 86). Bands above 1st floor. Sash windows with frames in flat arches; glazing bars missing to 1st floor windows. Windows in No 85 In moulded frames with keystones over. 2nd floor windows in No 86 in flat shouldered frames, lower windows in moulded shouldered frames with pediments over. C20 plate glass shop fronts and fascia on ground floor. In No 84, red brick front below coved cornice recessed behind frontages to Nos 85 and 86.
