NZ 26 SW NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE NORLAND ROAD (north end) 11/399 Piers, walls and gates and railings west of former Whickham View Schools. G.V. II Piers, dwarf walls, gates and railings. Concrete with metal bands; wrought iron gates and railings; metal bands to walls and piers. Vehicle and pedestrian entrances and returning walls of concrete showing exposed aggregate. 8 round piers with low rounded tops have band of metal continuous with wall; 2 further bands near top. Low walls coming forward from gate piers have low rounded coping and support geometric-patterned railings; similar style gates.
