Cottage. Late C16/C17. Timber framed with whitewashed brick infill, largely underbuilt in whitewashed brick. Old tile roof; central stack of thin bricks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys; one-window range. Entrance in C19 and C20 single storey whitewashed brick range on left has C20 plank door in brick basket-arch doorway. Late C20 bow window on left; late C20 casements. Large stack of 3 square shafts with V-pilasters. Return sides have exposed framing with jowled posts, on right side to upper part only. C20 casement. Interior noted as having exposed framing and broad open fireplace. Reputed to have been an inn.
