Details

TILSHEAD HIGH STREET SU 04 NW (south side) 1/282 The Elms II Detached house. Cl7, mid-C19 extension to rear and refacing of front. Flemish bond brick to front, limestone and flint to rear and sides, tiled roof, hipped to right, brick stacks. L-plan. 2- storey, 6-window front. 6-panelled door C19 door in porch to right, to either side is 2-storey canted bay with sashes, to left are three 2-light casements to ground and first floors; a straight joint divides the front into two halves. Right return has French windows and one 16-pane sash to first floor. Left return has 2- light casements to ground and first floors. Rear has one 2-light blocked ovolo-mullioned window with hoodmould to left, 4-panelled door, one 4-light ovolo-mullioned window with hoodmould and one 2- light casement to right. First floor has one small 4-pane sash. Mid-C19 parallel rear range to right has double half-glazed doors with segmental head and 6-pane sash to first floor.
