Details
ENDLESS STREET 1. 1594 (East side) Nos 66 to 70 (even) SU 1430 SW 1/258 II GV 2. Late C18 symmetrical block. 2 storeys and attic colourwashed brick, raised string, slight central projection of 3 bays. Brick dentil cornice to flanking sections. Gable end old tile roof 3 small hipped dormer windows, single lights. Each house has one window, recessed casements, glazing bars intact. Additional blind windows on first floor in side houses, and 2 blind windows flanking central 2 light casement on first floor in centre house. Ground floor windows have raised keystones. Plain doorways. No 68 has blocked basket handle archway with block imposts and keystone containing door and window. Probably former carriageway. Originally perhaps an Inn.
Nos 52 to 56 (even) and 60 to 74 (even) form a group.
