2. C14 origin altered C18 and later. Corner site with Ivy Street qv. 2 storey, colourwashed brick ground floor with colourwashed mathematical tiles to oversailing 1st floor, timber frame behind. Steep pitch hipped old tile roof. Front to Catherine Street has 3 windows 1st floor, flush framed sashes, glazing bars intact (Cl8), 2 similar windows ground floor with glazed door between to right hand and to left small late C19 shop front with flanking pilasters, 4 light thin mullioned window Ivy Street front has 5 Cl8 flush framed sashes glazing bars on 1st floor, 3 similar but large windows on, ground floor and glazed double doors. Interior: wall posts and bracing inside on lst floor, 2 bays of roof to Ivy Street retain trussed rafters, collars, collar purlins and crown posts Cl4.
