THE CLOSE 1. 1594 No 31 SU 1429 NW 3/33 28.2.52. II* GV 2. Early to mid C18 recasing of earlier structure. 2 storey and attic. Stucco. Moulded eaves comiice. Old tile roof hipped round cornice at corners. 2 hipped dormers, one with leaded casements. 4 windows on 1st floor and 3 on ground floor with no glazing bars. Central 2-storey bay oversailing at lst floor level, and with windows in each side wall, moulded string at 1st floor and cornice at eaves level. 6-Panel door at left hand side of bay in panelled recess with small moulded cornice and flanking pilasters. The east wall tile hung with shaped tiles.

All the listed buildings in the Close form an outstanding group.
