2. Circa 1800 group of cottages. 2 storeys red brick. Old tile roof, hipped over corner. Small sloping roofed dormers. Nos 56 Barnard Street and 131 Love Lane are stuccoed. One window each except for 56 Barnard Street with 2 sliding sashes, small panes. No 50 Barnard Street has small early C19 shop window of 6 panes, flanking pilasters and panelled and glazed door also with flanking pilasters under common frieze and cornice. Similar small pilaster framed window to Love Lane (No 125 Love Lane now part of No 50 Barnard Street). Flush panelled or plank doors. No 56 Barnard Street has doorcase of pilasters, frieze and cornice.
