NORTON THE STREET, Foxley ST 98 NW (north side) 4/70 Barn to the north-west of Cowage Farmhouse 12.12.51 GV II

Barn. Probable C17 origin with late C18 alterations. Coursed rubble with wooden lintels and gabled stone slate roof. Cruciform plan with full height midstreys with half-hipped roofs to east and west facades. Lean-to shelter shed with half-hipped roof to south end, window to north and ventilation slits to all facades. Plank gates to midstreys. Interior. Butt-purlin collar and tie-beam roof structure.
