House. 1702 over doorway but largely a rebuilding and remodelling of c.1830. Dressed stone (watershot at rear) with graduated stone slate roof. Large near-symmetrical 2- storey house with additions to rear and wing to left. Jacobean style. 7 bays, the centre 3 projecting and having a shaped gable which is flanked on either side by a similar gable. Projecting plinth, first floor band, soldier course and quoins. The central door has a fine bolection-moulded surround, a pulvinated frieze and scrolled pediment enclosing a dated enriched cartouche all of which may be re-used. Total of 6 ground floor and 7 first floor 2-light mullion and transom cavetto-moulded windows some with leaded lights, some glazing bars and some C20 casements.
