House and adjoining barn and cottage. Mid to late C18. Watershot stone and graduated stone slate roof. The barn and cottage (which predate the house) have the unusual arrangement of barn at front and cottage at rear. The house is double-depth and has a central staircase and 3 storeys. The central door has a square-cut stone surround. Each floor has two 3-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows (mullions removed to ground floor). 2 taking-in doors and blocked attic light to gable. The barn has a blocked segmental cart entry with keystone, a loft hatch above and a shippon door with square-cut door surround to left. Lean-to porch and owl hole to gable and 2 and 3-light recessed flat- faced mullion windows to cottage. Similar windows to rear of house. Chimney stacks heightened in engineering brick.
