Gate piers and gate east of balustrade in front of Hamsterley Hall. C18, probably with C19 coping; probably resited circa 1930 from entrance to garden. Sandstone ashlar piers; wrought iron gate. Tall square piers with chamfered rustication have plain stepped coping and banded ball finials; single round- headed gate with spear-headed dog and central bars and square-section uprights, flanked by baroque-style panels of scroll; overthrow in similar style has scrolls flanking circular panel.
