54 and 57 set forward shortly; these with 55 and 56 have giant pilaster order
uniting first and second floors. Channelling to ground floor. Projecting Doric
porches with square piers. Studded, panelled doors. Continuous first floor
lotus pattern balcony. Square headed windows, sashes, glazing bars, first floor
French casements. Stucco cornice above second floor subsidiary cornice to
attic. Cast iron area railings. Integral part of Chester Square planned layout.
