Detached house. Mainly early C19, with earlier origins. Yellow brick; some plum- brick; old tiled roof, steeply pitched to eaves except to left hand part which has parapet. 3 adjoining parts, each of 2 storeys (various heights) and 2 main bays; cambered central entrance (?) now blocked. Square headed windows, gauged heads; mostly casemented with glazing bars, but sashed with plate glass to left hand part. Central part with brick hand to first floor, canted oriels to first floor and gabled casemented dormers having leaded lights. Large central stack and subsidiary stacks. Other elevations also of interest. Interior not inspected, but understood to contain turned baluster staircase and some simple panelling.
