ARNOLD CIRCUS E2 1. 4431 BOUNDARY ESTATE Chertsey House TQ 3382 8/62 II GV 2. 1899. Red brick, ground floor glazed with white stone moulded string course above. Salmon pink banding to brickwork of 2nd and 3rd floors, central gable and chimneys. Bands increase in width towards top of building. Eaves cornice. Slate mansard roof. 4 storeys and dormers, 5 storeys under central gable. 9 windows, sashes with segmental heads and glazing bars. Centre 3 bays under gable with crow stepped ends and central curved feature. Outer 2 bays become 3-light chamfered oriel bays between 1st and 3rd floors, with stucco base. Central window in banded arched recess. 4th floor windows have stucco tympana. Roundel above. Ground floor, central round arched door with chequered tympanum, short stucco pilasters and separate narrow side windows. Flanking windows of 3 lights, stuccoed mullions and surround.
