NEW ROAD E1 1. (West Side) 4431 Nos 15 to 21 (odd) Area railings at Nos 15 to 21 (odd). TQ 3481 15/487

2. Early C19. Stock brick with coped parapets. Nos 15 and 17 slate mansard roofs, Nos 19 and 21 roofs not visible. 3 storeys and basements. Nos 15 and 17 also with dormers, and with stucco bands at 1st floor sill height. 2 windows each, sashes, about half with glazing bars. All except No 15 have round headed doorcase rusticated, with vermiculated stone quoins and mask keystones. Fanlights and 6 panelled doors. No 15, plain round headed doorcase, fanlight and modern door. Iron area railings.
Nos 5 to 21 (odd) forms a group with Nos 25 to 47 (odd). Nos 15 and 17 form a group with Nos 5 to 21 (odd) and Nos 4 and 6 Nelson Street.
