Probably C16 timber-framed building refronted circa 1800. Two storeys, two windows. Stucco with low pitched slated roof. One one storey and one two storey canted bays. Sash windows with glazing bars. Half glazed central door. Canted angle to two bay front on Hillingdon Road with blank first floor. West extension of painted brick with tiled roof, formerly stables. Charles I stopped here during his flight in April 1646.
The Red Lion Public House, 369 Royal Lane and the The Red Lion Hotel form a group.
