Circa 1791 terrace of 7 houses, each 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows.
Symmetrical composition with 3-bay, slightly projecting pedimented centre
and ends. Multicoloured stock brick with stone cornice and parapet coping.
Gauged, flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars, some
replaced. Ground floor windows in centre and ends in round arched recesses
with stone impost band. Doors of outer houses in end bays, that in centre
on axis, those between paired. Console bracketed cornices to doors of 6
fielded panels with rectangular fanlights. The paired doors also have
moulded architraves and ecorationa to fanlights. Cast iron guards to
ground floor windows of outer houses.
Whole block now being concerted to flats by Greater London Council.
Some internal features, ie curved staircases, panelled dados, arches and
screens in halls will remain.
