Mid C19. Substantial, 3 storeyed public house on corner site in heavy, classical
style. Brick with generous stuccoed dressings. Pilastered 'shop' fronts to ground
storey, somewhat altered. 3 large windows to 1st floor with 2, off centre, to
return. Large, bracketed eaves-cornice with windows alternating with 5 bells in
frieze. Modern addition to north.
