CLAY HILL Church of St John the Baptist

II Church. Circa 1860. James Piers St Aubyn. Stained glass by Heaton, Butler and Bayne. Yellow brick with red and blue brick decoration. Pitched slate roof to eaves.

Geometrical Gothic style. Three 3 bay nave aisleless, lower chancel of two bays. South west porch. Fleche to west end of nave. Timber roof. Lancets to chancel, two-light plate traceried windows to nave; three-light east window. Interior retains set of stained glass windows by Heaton, Butler and Bayne; the church is listed on this account.
