2. Late C19. Elaborate stone building in flamboyant Second Empire style. 4 storeys and roof-storey; 3 bays wide. Ground floor with original large square headed opening with plate glass window and round arched entrance with enriched architrave and mask key crowned by console bracketed entablature with triglyph frieze and dentilled cornice. Architraved and pedimented windows above, right hand window slightly set forward with flanking pilasters supporting balustrade. Sill-guards to windows in wrought iron. Console bracketed pediments at 2nd floor level. Round headed windows set between pilasters and with projecting segmental sills and iron guards at 3rd floor level. Bracketed cornice. Large pedimented central dormer flanked by 2 smaller round-headed dormers in high pavilion roof of copper and slate. Wrought iron guard rails to parapet and ridge of roof. Wrought iron entrance gates and footscrapers.
