2. 1877 by Bell; warehouse; red brick with some white brick and stone dressings; 5 storeys; 2 wide gabled bays; large plate glass windows at ground floor with exposed fabricated steel lintols supported on brick piers to left and right and at centre, coupled columns with cast caps. Spiked iron railings to basement lights. Above ground floor the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor windows all contained within a single giant pointed arched recess to each bay with white brick arch voussoirs and enriched stone impost band. Stone parapet and gable copings and apex finials. At each floor level within the arched recesses an exposed steel or iron beam; timber infilling consisting of windows subdivided by mullions and bars into small squares and panelled aprons; an iron jib crane at high level on the central brick pier between the bays.
