TIMBERLAND CHURCH LANE TF 15 NW (west side) 6/54 The Old School (formerly listed as The 19.11.80 Old School and School House)

GV II

School. 1843 altered c1890. Red brick with ashlar dressings. Slate roof with ashlar coped gables with moulded kneelers. Chamfered ashlar plinth. Ashlar quoins. Single storey. 3 bay, east front has slightly projecting gabled central bay, with a single 3-light cross mullion window in a chamfered ashlar surround with a drip- mould over. Above an ashlar coat-of-arms, the gable is surmounted by an ashlar gabled bellcote, with a pointed, chamfered arched bell opening. Either side a single similar 3-light cross mullion window. To the north a set back rebuilt gabled porch. The south front windows and door have been bricked up.
