Kitchen Garden Wall. c.1800. Hand-made, wire-cut brick. Irregular bond, some burned bricks. 8 feet high, 1.5 bricks thick. Rectangular perimeter wall enclosing kitchen garden. Regularly positioned shallow buttresses to exterior. Capped in several ways: continuous row of bricks placed on end; stretch of slender flat copings curving up to stretch of angled copings. Arched openings in the brick wall. Decorative iron gates.
