Stable block. c.1840s. Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin. Stone with slate roof, hexagonal slates. Rectangular block with gable end to to Green Lane; small porch with parallel gable at end of front to Woolton Road. Rear has two large doors, half-glazed; central entrance with four-canted head with square pitching eye above. Three round ventilating holes (now blocked, 1984) to each side of pitching eyes. Raking dormer to front and rear and cross-axial stack. Porch has pointed entrance with paired panelled doors; gable cross.
