TF 09 SE OSGODBY MAIN STREET (north side) Kingerby 8/29 Beech House 1-11-66 II

Former rectory now house; C17 with major alterations and additions of early C19, C20 alterations to rear. Brick with slate roof and 2 pairs of brick gablestacks. Early C19 front of 2 storeys with garret and 3 bays. Ground floor has 3 French window 8 pane casements, above a central blocked opening flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Side front has central 6 panelled 1/2 glazed door with traceried overlight having a moulded surround of narrow pilasters supporting consoles and a lightly dentillated cornice. Above the door is a glazing bar sash and to the 2nd floor a tall 3 light Diocletian window. The earlier rear wing has CO fenestration. Interior has moulded cornices, moulded architraves with a diamond motif, and lions heads in the corners, a curved stair with straight balusters and carved strings and panelled reveals to the windows.
