BRIDGE STREET 1. 1348 (West Side) No 17 TF 3287 2/16 2.11.54. II GV 2. Early C19. 3-storey brick house with shallow-pitched hipped Welsh slate roof. Deep wooden eaves cornice with paired brackets. 5 windows, 2:1:2, hung sashes with glazing bars in wide wooden cases with very shallow reveals and flat arched carved stucco heads. Shallow central breakforward and end pilasters. Within the breakforward is a semi-circular headed recess containing the entrance and the central window of the 1st floor. Wooden doorcase, 2 reeded columns supporting a simple entablature, panelled reveals and soffit. Door of 6 panels. Garden wall of brick to right, NMR. Nos 11 to 17 (odd) and The Bridge form a group.
