SOUTH COCKERINGTON St Leonard's Lane TF38 NE (South side) 8/71A The Almshouses 6.6.52 GV II
4 almshouses, now house. C.1890. Red brick with some applied timber framing. Hipped slate roof with barge boards and 3 tall ridge stacks with brick copinq. Single storey, 8 bay front with the second and seventh bays projecting with gables filled with timber framing. Plinth. Doorway to left with partially glazed door. 3 light casement with transom to right. Doorway beyond with glazing bar door. Two 3 light casements to right with single transoms. Doorway beyond with glazing bar door. 3 light casement with transom to right. Doorway beyond, blocked with brick. All the doorways with triangular heads.
