Details
1. 1671 ST PETER'S STREET (North Side) Nos 35 and 36 TF 0207 1/339 22.5.54. II* GV 2. Late Cl6 or early C17. 2 storeys with one large later and plaster gable above No 36, and one small stone gable topping a shallow wide 2-storey canted bay with 6-light windows to each storey, with moulded stone frames and mullions. Door of 6 panels, 2 glass, adjoins. The East wing projects slightly under the larger gable, which contains a 4-light casement window with glazing bars end moulded wood mullion and transom. Below is an attractive early C19 shop front of 2 round-headed windows with glazing bars, and rectangular central door with glazing bars, divided by pilasters Rendered stall risers. No 35 is ashlar. No 36 is rendered. Stone slate roof. Graded for the shop front.
Nos 26 to 33 (consec), Wall in yard abutting on No 37 and Stabling to rear of No 37 form a group. Also Nos 33 to 38 (consec)with No 7 St Peter's Hill form a group.
