Pair of cottages. Late C17, extended and altered C19 and C20.
Originally timber frame, now underbuilt in coursed limestone
rubble and partly rendered. Pantile roof with decorative ridge
tiles, 2 brick ridge stacks, single ashlar gable stack. Single
storey with attics, irregular 6 bay front, with off-centre half
glazed C20 door with to left 2 and to right a single 2 light C20
glazing bar casements. Beyond to the right are a pair of semi-
circular headed 3 light windows and above, to the roof, are 2
semi-circular headed leaded dormers. At the right hand end a
timber bay post on stone base is exposed and the positions of 5
other bay posts can be seen fossilized in the stone walling.
