Early C17 house, and outbuildings in rubble with stone gable ends. Slate roof. Also part Georgian brick. Grouped moulded stone stacks. Two storeys. Four windows, stone surrounds mostly C19 sashes, three windows and one blocked to ground floor, but a three-light C17 window with moulded cornice is in gable of left hand of garden front.
No interior fittings of note.
Malting house and adjoining outbuildings with a C19 window. Garden wall has a rectangular moulded stone gateway with a moulded sloping pediment, all with coping, with three stone ball finials.
In the garden is a made-up archway of moulded stone, with a shield over centre. Fragments from Sleaford Castle include a C15 escutcheon of kneeling angels.
Nos 2 to 8 (even) and Carre's hospital form a group
