TF 03 67 BRANSTON & MERE HIGH STREET 8/9 (south side) 16.1.1981 Nos 38 to 44 (even) II

Row of 4 cottages. Early C19. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Slate ridge roof with deeply overhanging eaves and 2 white brick stacks. Double fronted with 2 thin casements at centre flanked by 2 doorways, one C19 door and on C20 glazed door, flanked again by 4, 3-light casements, all ground floor openings are topped with Tudor style dripmoulds. Above 6, 2-light casements to eaves.
