The Berries and attached barn and wall
II
Farmhouse with attached barn and mud wall. Late C18, C20
alterations. Red brick, some stone. C20 composite tile roof
with coped left gable with stone kneelers. 1 ridge stack, 1
gable stack. Brick plinth. 2 storeys and attic. East front:
dentilled cornice. 4 bays. Off-centre doorway with C20 part-
glazed door and cambered arch. To left, two 3-light casements
with cambered arches, to right a single similar casement. Above,
a single-light casement with to left, two 3-light casements and
to right another similar casement, all with cambered arches.
Single 2-light sliding sash with cambered arch in left gable.
2-storey range to rear with attached brick and timber-framed barn
on brick plinth. Corrugated iron roof. North wall: panels of
square framing, 2 panels high, with brick infill. South wall,
brick, with large doorway with double plank doors. Attached to
right on north side, a mud wall with rubblestone plinth and
corrugated iron coping, c1.5 m high and c15 m long on a curve.
